The LAW Server coupled with Seeker GPS provide a leakage management system that enables operators to find and fix leaks quickly, minimize tech time, quickly assess network leakage health and gauge the effectiveness of leakage maintenance efforts.

Trilithic’s Seeker GPS Leakage Management System and integrated LAW server provide a unique way to minimize maintenance costs and maximize efficiency. The integrated solution enables operators to find and fix leaks quickly, minimize tech time, quickly assess network leakage health, and gauge the effectiveness of leakage maintenance efforts.

In coordination with the Seeker GPS Management System, the LAW server collects leakage location data, plots the data and marks the leakage source location as push pins on a map.  Then the LAW server automatically assigns and emails work repair orders to the responsible techs.

The LAW Server supports up to 250 Seeker, Seeker MCA, or Seeker BB-2 Hardware Instances in basic configuration, expandable up to 1000 device instances.

LAW Server Hardware Specifications 

Trilithic recommends that a user-sourced LAW server meet the following specifications. Operating LAW on a server that does not meet or exceed these requirements may result in problems with the LAW application.

Recommended Server Specifications:
Processor: 2.83 GHz Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® 5440 Processor with 2x6 MB Cache and 1333 MHz Front Side Bus (FBS)
Memory: 4 GB of 667 MHz Dual Ranked Fully Buffered DIMMs
Hard Drive:

Four 1 TB 7200 RPM SATA 3 Gbps Hard Drives (RAID-5) support up to 250 Seeker, Seeker MCA, or Seeker BB-2 Hardware Instances in basic configuration, expandable up to 1000 device instances
OS: Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition with SP2 (40 GB OS Partition)
Server Software: Microsoft® Windows® SQL Server 2005 Workgroup Edition
Network Adapter: Gigabit Ethernet NIC with high speed internet connection

WIFI Access Requirements for LAW

A wireless access point communicating with the WIFI option of the vehicle-mounted Seeker MCA module must meet these specifications:

WIFI Requirements:
Security: Must support WPA or up to 128bit WEP
Wireless radio: Must support 802.11b and 802.11g connections, support for 802.11a is preferred for future upgrades

 

Software

  • Map Subscription for LAW Server Software (Yearly Fee)

    This is a one year subscription and/or license renewal for the LAW Map License. The subscription provides four automatic map updates per year and is necessary for the operation of the LAW Server Software. 

    The LAW Map License must be purchased with new copies of the LAW Server Software at the time of initial sale and must be renewed yearly.  This LAW Map License can also be purchased as a yearly renewal license to an existing LAW Server.

  • LAW Integrated Server Package - Seeker Expansion License (Additional 25 Devices)

    This is a hardware expansion license for the LAW Integrated Server Package beyond the initial 250 licenses that are included at the time of initial purchase. This package includes licenses for an additional 25 Seeker, Seeker MCA or Seeker BB-2 Units.  Each Seeker, Seeker MCA or Seeker BB-2 that uploads data to LAW is considered to be one device.

    The hardware expansion license can be purchased with the LAW Integrated Server Package at the time of sale or aftermarket.

Warranty

Repairs

All repairs carry a 90-day warranty against defects in replacement parts and repair workmanship.

Products

All Trilithic products are warranted against defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of one year after shipment.

Trilithic's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product after being returned to our factory, and Trilithic determining the product be indeed defective.

This is Trilithic's sole warranty and is given in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and sets forth the buyers sole remedy.
